Raise Spirits

PHOENIX

Description

Your powers over the dead allow you to create spirits. These spirits can be weak, faceless shades with no personality, or powerful champions that retain the skills they had in life.

Level 1

0 Focus

Raise the spirit of a corpse within two turns of you as a Shade. The Shade cannot dodge and dies when damaged. Its attacks deal 1 damage, ignoring armour. If there are more than double the number of Shades as there are enemies in a combat encounter, then Shades automatically hit. Up to four Shades can be raised as a single major action.

Level 2

0 Focus

As a minor action, you can destroy any number of your Shades, no matter their location, healing yourself for 1 Health per Shade destroyed.

The City, Active, Passive, Upgradable, Companion

Level 3

0 Focus

Spend an hour raising the spirit of a corpse within two turns of you as a Spirit Champion. A Spirit Champion has the mob or character sheet that it had in life, as well as the same appearance, albeit translucent and ghostly. Undead Champions retain their broad personality, but now have the morals of the one who raised them and will follow that person’s commands.

Passive

When an Undead Champion is killed, you are aware of it, as well as where they died.

Shades can now be raised as a minor action.
