Shadowlight Form
PHOENIX
Description
You wield both Shadow and Light energies. These conflicting forces combine in your body in strange ways, constantly pulling you between the shadow and the light.

Level 1
Passive
You are wreathed in Shadowlight, granting you a Shadow form and a Light form. When in Shadow form, you have +2 STR and +2 END (also giving you +4 Max Health). When in Light Form, you have +2 INT, +2 PER and +4 Max Focus. Rather than choosing which form you are in, whenever you roll a D4 as part of a Shadowlight ability, you change to your shadow form if you roll a 1 or a 2, or your Light Form if you roll a 3 or a 4.

Level 2
Passive
When in Shadow Form, you gain a +1 to all checks you make in combat. When in Light Form, you gain a +1 to all checks you make outside of combat.

Passive
When in Shadow Form, you cannot be taken by surprise and any stealth attacks performed against you are treated as normal attacks. When in Light Form, you automatically have a 5 to your Mindset when using the Needs System.

Passive
When in Shadow Form, you are aware of any individuals nearby with malicious or selfish intent and have a +4 to Charisma checks when interacting with them. When in Light Form, you are aware of any individuals with selfless or positive intent and have a +4 to Charisma checks when interacting with them.

Passive
Now, when you roll a D4 as part of a Shadowlight ability, you can choose which form to be in if you roll a 2 or a 3.
