Description
A runed item, they are popular amongst the Barbarian Clans. The bracers turn your skin to bark, with the thickness of the bark depending on the duration of the effect.

Level 1
6 Focus
Your skin turns to hard bark for 5 turns, or 30 minutes if used out of combat. This gives you 1 Natural armour, and 4 temporary health.

Level 2
Passive
The bark now changes to resemble nearby trees, giving you a +4 to any Dexterity (Stealth) checks when the bracers are active in areas with lots of trees.

Your bracers now give you 2 Natural Armour.

Your skin turns to hard bark for 5 turns, or 30 minutes if used out of combat. This gives you 2 Natural armour, and 4 temporary health. The bark changes to resemble nearby trees, giving you a +4 to any Dexterity (Stealth) checks when in areas with lots of trees. Any enemy who hits you in melee combat whilst the bracers are active takes 2 damage, ignoring armour.

Passive
When you activate this ability, you can reduce the time your bracers are active for to empower its effects. You may use as many of these as you wish and stack the same empowerment.
-1 turn / -6 minutes: +1 extra Natural Armour
-1 turn / -6 minutes: +2 damage to attackers
-1 turn / -6 minutes: +3 temporary health
